What is the significance of the presidential elections for the future and economic development of Azerbaijan?

- Presidential elections are an extremely important and significant event for a country. The president has great authority to determine and implement the course of the country's domestic and foreign policy. When we say domestic policy, we mean the determination and application of taxes, the organization and implementation of social programs in such areas as economic development, social protection, and culture. At the same time, these elections are directly related to foreign policy. Because in the country's foreign policy, the president regulates issues such as establishing close relations between Azerbaijan and other countries in the world, resolving diplomatic issues, and signing international agreements. Presidential elections constitute a stage considered important in the functioning of political systems, economic development, social equality, human rights, and the strengthening of the democratic processes of a country. These elections will also determine the future fate of our state, which has fully restored its territorial integrity and sovereignty, and its situation in the economic arena. The establishment of political and economic relations between the countries will be determined by the candidate who won the majority of votes during the presidential elections to be held in our country. A strong leader means a strong state. In short, the future development of Azerbaijan depends on these elections.

This is the first time that Azerbaijan is going to the presidential elections as a state that has fully restored its territorial integrity and sovereignty, and this is the first case in the history of our independence. In this regard, what important meaning do the upcoming elections have for our state?

- Our lands, which were under the enemy's occupation for 30 years, were liberated as a result of the correct policy and state management, as well as the bravery of our army. I think that the joy of victory, which we have been waiting for many years, has created great confidence in the future of our people. This is also of great importance for the upcoming elections. It is possible to call these elections "Victory election".

What sincere wishes would you like to address to the people of Azerbaijan, that will hold extraordinary presidential elections in February?

- I recommend our people to make the right choice in the presidential elections of the Azerbaijan Republic. This choice has the power to determine the future fate of the state and the nation. The right choice can lead the country to progress, and the wrong choice can lead to downfall. Let's pay attention to the processes taking place in the world and make the right choice for the bright tomorrow of our country and raise our country to even higher levels.
